I got this DVD for Christmas and I watched it today. I first saw it when it came out in 1973. I was 9 years old. I'm sure I didn't get half the humor but through out the years, it has become one of my favorite movies.
I got a bunch of DVDs for Christmas... Seinfeld - Season 7, Gilmore Girls - Season 6, Brady Bunch - Season 3, Shawshank Redemption and Father of the Bride 2.
Ciao.

The concert was so good! She sang all 11 songs from her CD plus a Led Zeppelin song "Since I've Been Loving You".
I had an extra ticket so I sold it on the street for $2.00 less than I paid to a "scalper"; I was just happy to get some money back but...
After I got something to eat and was walking back to Town Hall, I was approached by the guy who bought my ticket and was offered a 10th row center Orchestra seat in exchange for the other 1st row Balcony seat because he could get a lot more for the pair of tickets. I was psyched to see the show from this better location.
I found a beautiful new navy pleated skirt in the bathroom with a price tag of $99. It was in a small shopping bag hanging from the hook. This was before the show. I wanted to do the right thing, so I was directed to a man who worked there. I told him the deal, but that since the skirt was really nice, I wanted the option of keeping it if no one claimed it. He told me I'd have to wait a few days. I showed hesitance and he said "I can't just forget that I saw it." I asked if he'd be in the lobby after the show, to which he replied yes. I told him I'd check back to see if someone had inquired about it and if not, I'll keep it. No one claimed it so now I have a gorgeous skirt that I can use as an incentive to continue losing weight to one day fit in it.
What a very cool evening!

I am totally loving this song. It's by Santana featuring Sean Paul with Joss Stone.
Here's the video:
As Well ---> I got a bunch of songs tonight. More Lady Sovereign. Four songs from a British band called The Ordinary Boys. Another track from Santana's CD from last year featuring Los Lonely Boys and two of their songs.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs. This song is just simply fabulous! It was sung by Dusty Springfield. Here's a video of her singing it, sometime between 1968 - 1970. It seems a tiny bit slower than the recorded single.
This is Joss Stone singing it on a UK Music Hall of Fame Special in November 2006.
Another one from Joss Stone - Super Duper Love (Live) - in 2003, I believe, when she was 16.
This girl sure can sing!

Heard "Love @ First Sight" by Mary J. Blige today on the Ellen Show. I had forgotten how freakin' awesome this song is.
I first heard "Love Me or Hate Me" by Lady Sovereign on a digital music channel on my TV a few months ago. I just love it!
